Study on Ultra-High Temperature Contact Solution Treatment of Al–Zn–Mg–Cu Alloys

چکیده
Contact solution treatment (CST) of Al–Zn–Mg–Cu alloys can shorten time to within 40 s in comparison with 1800 traditional using a heating furnace. Heating temperature is the key factor treatment. Considering short CST, ultra-high over 500 °C was studied this work. The effects temperatures on microstructures and mechanical properties were investigated. evolution second phases explored strengthening mechanisms also quantitatively evaluated. results showed that could be reduced 10 535 due increasing dissolution rate phase tensile strength aged specimen reach 545 MPa.
